QC Analyst I - HPLC

About the role:
Join Takeda as a QC Analyst I - HPLC where you will focus on the daily lab operations and execution of testing to support manufacturing. You will also conduct testing of samples from in process, drug substance and multiple protocol studies using analytical test methods. As part of the Quality Control Analyst team, you will report to you will report the Quality Control Manager and work with great team members and groups in the facility.
How you will contribute:
- You will perform broad range of analytical based techniques HPLC, glycan and peptide analysses to support in-process, release and stability testing
- You will review QC assays
- You will complete method qualification and validation
- You will maintain GMP conditions in the lab
What you bring to Takeda:
- Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 0-2 years of related experience. (Science degree desired)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, LIMS, SAP, and Trackwise
- Develop solutions to a variety of complex problems
- Demonstrate wisdom in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
Important Considerations
At Takeda, our patients rely on us to deliver quality products. As a result, we must follow strict rules in our manufacturing facilities to ensure we are not endangering the quality of the product. In this role, you may:
- Work in a controlled environment requiring special gowning and wear protective clothing over the head, face, hands, feet and body. This may include additional hearing protection for loud areas.
- Need to remove all make-up, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish and/or artificial fingernails while in the manufacturing environment.
- Work in a cold, wet environment.
- Work multiple shifts, including weekends, or be asked to work supplemental hours, as necessary.
- Work around chemicals such as alcohol, acids, buffers and Celite that may require respiratory protection.
