Quality Control Analyst I

About the role:
Join Takeda as a QC Analyst I where you will focus on the daily lab operations and execution of cell growth and cell counting testing to support release and stability of cell banks and manufacturing operations. As part of the Quality team, you will report to the Supervisor of Quality and work with great teams within the facility.
How you will contribute:
- You will participate in complex project of Operational Excellence programs and multiple quality systems
- You will cross train in other QC groups, Protein concentration methods, Compedia methods (pH, Moisture, OSMO, appearance, and subvisible particles) Enzyme activity assays, DNA, PCR, Free Thiol and reagent preparation of assays
- You will oversee release and stability testing of cell bank programs. Testing for viability and cell density using hemocytometer, Nucleocounter and other cell counting instruments
What you bring to Takeda:
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 0-2 years related experience
- Experience with software (Microsoft Office, LIMS, SAP, or TrackWise) Compliance and science understanding
- Work around chemicals
- Work business hours Monday - Friday with occasional weekend work to test/passage cell
