We are currently hiring for a Learning & Development Manager in full-time in the Netherlands.

ROLE OBJECTIVE

You will play a significant role in building a patient centric and customer focused organization, ensuring that Takeda Netherlands has the capabilities required to differentiate itself in highly competitive environment and add clear and tangible value to patients and providers.  

You will be responsible for initiation, development, deployment and tracking training and development programs that are aligned with the organization’s strategic goal to become most patient centric company and preferred partner for providers.

And you will actively contribute to creating a culture of constant learning, development and improvement.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Interaction capabilities: design and deploy training and coaching programs to elevate the interaction capabilities of customer facing functions across the organization including high level of relevant scientific knowledge and outstanding interpersonal capabilities. 

  • Innovation capacity: facilitate talent development and learning programs that cultivate new methods and processes within the organization, help drive growth and build competitive edge.  

  • Entrepreneurship capability: elevate the capability of the business teams (commercial, medical, market access) to sense, select, and shape opportunities, and synchronize their strategic moves and resources in pursuit of these opportunities.

  • Cross- functional collaboration and synergy: has deep insights about the x-fun links in the organization and introduce team development opportunities to promote best practice sharing and synergies and to create well-orchestrated highly performing teams.  

  • Agile Working: design and deploy training and coaching programs that elevate Agile Working capabilities of teams while ensuring excellence in execution, fast and effective implementation and learnings.

  • Omni-channel customer engagement: develop deep insights on how we can serve better our patients and customers and translate those insights to concrete development and coaching programs to elevate organizational Omni-channel customer engagement capabilities.

  • Insights: assess the success of development plans and help employees and managers make the most of learning opportunities.

  • Culture: Actively promotes the culture of learning organization ensuring constant development, growth and improvement.


SKILLS and CAPABILITIES

Critical Skills and Competencies

  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to influence and work effectively with various business partnerships

  • Sharp business acumen and strategic thinking

  • Strong project management skills to support driving cross company initiatives

  • Solid knowledge of effective learning and development methods as well as e-learning platforms and practices

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 2+ years of prior experience in managerial role (business/training)

  • Experience in designing training materials. Proven ability to foster mentoring relationships and to drive continuous development of employees and managers  

  • Experience in content creation, maintenance of training processes, and the successful development of training and development programs

  • Experience in coordinating, implementing and managing projects that deliver on time and within budget.

  • Ability to develop strong professional relationships at all levels of interaction and across functional teams
